Addicted to Acting
The ‘Addicts’ are four young drama students on their path to their dream profession. They belong to the nearly 30 successful students who are selected among 1000 applicants each year and admitted to the ‘Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch Berlin’ (Academy of Drama Art). Andres Veiel has accompanied them for seven years: starting with their preparations for the entrance examination (1996) to their first engagements (2003). We learn of their plans and dreams, their environment, strengths and weaknesses, their hopes and motives. The camera approaches the faces cautiously and captures the often tiny but decisive moments of success and failure.

Film otkriva planove i snove glumaca, sredinu u kojoj žive, njihove vrline i mane, nade i motive.
